…Locally produced Advanced Ozone Healing at its finest
Hello bella babes!
This is an exciting review because the company who produces this product is 100% local and 100% awesome. I was lucky enough to be invited to a focus group with the amazing creators of the brand, itWorkx. It was really great meeting the team behind the company as well as learning all about the product range on offer.
I was also lucky enough to receive the Alo-Zone Oil to test out. I wanted to give the product a proper chance to work so I decided to use it daily for the period of a month and the results have been amazing!

ABOUT THE COMPANY
As per their website:
It is perhaps fitting that the two men who are behind It Workx have surnames that are reminiscent of the natural world that they respect so much. Edgar Wolf and John Mann have long recognised the amazing healing and nutritional powers of plant extracts.
What sets them apart from many of their competitors is their determination to produce products that are as close as possible to the natural ingredients, as found in nature. Couple that with a commitment to excellence in production, and an adherence to the best possible manufacturing practices, and you have products that really live up to their name.
Both Edgar and John have a simple philosophy in all aspects of their business. They get out of bed every morning, with the sole purpose of trying that day to help towards healing people. That’s their first priority – everything else is secondary.
It Workx – because they really do!

MAIN POINTS TO MENTION
The Product
As per the website:
This oil is a major help to those suffering from psoriasis and eczema, and been known to also help relieve those suffering from skin cancer and burns.
Both Aloe Vera and Ozone are known for their proven healing properties – reducing inflammation, removing toxicities and healing skin conditions. By combining these with the anti-aging and anti-oxidant properties of olive oil, we get a product that not only heals but also protects from skin damage and diseases.
The secret ingredient in Alo-Zone is oil from rosehip, harvested from the seeds of rose bushes grown in South Africa. Rosehip oil is full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines.
The Ingredients
Aloe Vera gel, olive oil, tea tree oil, rose oil, Ozone (03)
Aloe Vera contains two hormones that are known to reduce skin inflammation and stimulate new cell growth. It contains the antioxidants Vitamins A, C and E as well as B12, folic acid and Choline as well as eight vital enzymes and nine minerals.
The magical aloe vera is mixed with soothing olive oil and includes the healing properties of Ozone.
Lastly, the secret ingredient? The rosehip oil (read more about it to the left)

{My Review}
So right off the get go I was fully informed of the ingredients, procedures, application and usage of the products on offer. I was given the chance to choose which product I felt most drawn to- which in this case was obviously the Alo-Zone Oil.
The really great part about this oil is that it focuses on helping serious skin conditions too such as psoriasis and eczema. Whilst I don’t suffer from these conditions, I do have problem skin areas particularly on my legs. After waxing, I also find I tend to have so many ingrown hairs and super sensitive skin. So every night after my shower, I started using this oil on my legs. Although it is called an oil, the consistency is more of that of a lotion and it spreads easily and is absorbed quickly.
After using this product for the past month, the tone and texture of my skin has vastly improved. I have noticed just about zero (yes) zero ingrown hairs and not only that, but the existing marks on my skin have lightened significantly. I will definitely be adding some images to this post very soon to fully show you the magic! (I just haven’t had the chance to get proper images yet)
My boyfriend also does once in a while get a couple of super dry patches of eczema so of course, I offered up my Alo-Zone oil and it definitely did the trick! The best part about this product is that it only really took 2 weeks of consistent usage to see results. Usually with natural based products, because they treat the cause of the problem and not the symptoms alone, they might take a slightly longer time to work but their effects are 100000% better.
Last point and small caveat to this natural magic….the smell. It does not smell incredibly great. This is of course due to the fact that the ingredients are all natural and do not contain any harmful fragrances etc. I did get used to the smell after the first 2 weeks but at first, it is not the most pleasant thing to process…well in my mind at least. Also, the focus is on the product itself so the packaging is very simplistic and to the point.
All in all, I always will tend to opt for a natural skin care option when it is available and this product is a must have for any kind of inflammation, cracked heels, blackheads, psoriasis, ingrown hairs and more.
Such great value for money! a 100ml bottle lasts forever!
It does exactly what it claims to do and more!
