…Quality Skincare for all ages and skin types…
Hello bella babes!
Over the last month, I have been participating in the Environ’s #FocusOnFlawlessSA campaign in collaboration with Beauty Bulletin. I was sent two products to trial: The Focus Care Youth+ Tri BioBotanical Revival Masque and the Vita-Antioxidant Hydrating Oil Capsules.
I really enjoyed participating in this trial as skincare is becoming more and more important as I age. So before I provide my review of each product, I will introduce the Environ brand!
Keen to see how my experience was? Then please read on lovelies!
ABOUT THE COMPANY
The brand Environ was created by Dr Des Fernandes who also happens to be rated as one of the top 5 plastic surgeons in the world. Yes, you read correctly, I said the world! As this skincare range has been pioneered by a skincare specialist, there is particular attention paid to the vital role of Vitamin A which plays a large role in skincare health.
Currently they offer 140 products in over 70 countries- not too shabby indeed! AND this range is proudly South African- which is something I LOVE!
Environ Focus Care Youth+ Tri BioBotanical Revival Masque
“The story behind why we developed Revival Masque is that this was my first step in the mission I have to make a skin care product that would be like a ‘facelift in a jar’. I know that this is a preposterous idea, but as a dreamer I decided to pursue it.” – Dr Des Fernandes, Scientific Director.

My Thoughts
Right so first thing- the packaging of this product is brilliant! I love the quality of the box, the instructions in a pictorial format on the inside lid of the box and of course the masque jar itself. The airless design is great and prevents one from a) wasting too much product b) contaminating the contents. As a self-admitted germaphobe, this is definitely a feature I love.
My next LOVE about this product is the synthetic brush that is included with the masque. This is a definite plus in my eyes and I love having dedicated applicators for each different masque I own.
The masque itself is smooth, quite thin and dries quickly. It does sting slightly but that is just a confirmation that it is indeed penetrating the epidermal layer of your skin. My skin is sensitive but it was not affected negatively by either product in this range.
I am a masking addict (if you are ever on my Instagram, you would know this!) so I love finding a good quality mask/que that does exactly what it claims to do. After just one application, my skin felt so soft, supple and smooth. I have fine lines on my forehead which I noticed an immediate difference in. I used this mask twice a week for a month and I have noticed a definite positive increase in the smoothness and texture of my skin which I am so impressed with.
As a girl with combination skin, my masque sessions are of vital importance to my skincare routine. Although this masque may not be the cheapest, it would make for a great splurge item to your skincare collection. I have used it almost 8 times now and there is still plenty of product left in the jar so it really does go a long way.
Such great value for money! a 50ml bottle lasts forever!
It does exactly what it claims to do and more!

My Thoughts
Right so first thing as with the masque, the packaging of this product is gorgeous. I LOVE that each hydrating capsule is packaged individually– this really makes the inner germaphobe in me happy!
The other, very obvious reason for the individual capsules is to preserve the active ingredients within the capsules so that they can work to their full potential on your face. So I appreciate the attention to detail given here.
As I have combination skin, my t-zone tends to get rather oily throughout the day so I was a bit apprehensive about trying this particular product out. However the oil absorbed so quickly into my skin after application and left my skin feeling so supple and soft and not oily in the least.
As far as the promise of hydration and moisture- these capsules 100% deliver. However I didn’t notice a massive difference to my skin. This trial included 10 capsules which I used after masking- twice a week so it might not have been an accurate test of the product itself. For the moment, just due to the price of the product, I would have to greatly consider repurchasing as I feel that although the product 100% delivers, a different Environ moisturizer would last me longer.
However that being said, if you are looking to treat yourself and splurge just a teeny, tiny bit (:D) then definitely, this is the perfect splurge.
A bit pricey considering the quantity per bottle
it does hydrate the skin and the packaging aids to preserve the integrity of the ingredients contained
Have you heard of environ before? And is masking super important in your skincare routine? Let me know!
Until next time babes,
XOXO
