Hello my lovelies and welcome to the first instalment of my Product Review Series.
The point of this series (which will be a continuous one by the way) is to provide YOU with information, pricing, in-depth analysis and of course an overall impression of beauty products.
Right, so some important points to mention…
- I will make sure to let YOU (the reader) know if a product has been given to me or whether I have purchased the item myself
- My reviews are completely honest and will involve only the product itself, not any external components.
- Products affect different skin, differently…. So what works for me, might work for you, or it might not! All I can do, is assist you with all the information I have on hand and perhaps help you to make a better decision!
Okay, so basic admin out the way…without further ado, here is my honest review.
Neutrogena have a Visibly Clear skincare routine and this is the main toner that is part of this range.
The main appeal or rather, marketed appeal of this toner is to help eliminate and prevent blackheads. It is advised to use it once to twice a day, after cleansing/washing your face.
Aqua, Alcohol Denat., PPG-5-Ceteth-20, Glycerin, Salicylic Acid, Menthyl Lactate, Parfum.
Where did I buy it
You can pretty much get it at any drugstore, but I usually buy mine from Clicks
R109.95 (At time of publishing)
So this is a product I absolutely ADORE! I have restocked this product twice now and I have no plans to discontinue use anytime soon. The reason being is that my skin can get incredibly oily in my T zone and that often leads to my pores becoming large and blackheads developing….which are the absolute worse. Since I have been using this, my blackheads have significantly decreased and the overall texture of my skin has improved. To test it out, I stopped using this toner for a week and the difference was incredibly noticeable in my skin tone texture as well as the appearance of blemishes on my face.
