I’ll be honest, when I started my true crime series in 2021, I never imagined that it would take off the way it has.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with what I do, I started a true crime and makeup video series on Youtube shedding light and bringing awareness to the psychological nature of crimes you may not have even heard within mainly South Africa. With the success of the series, I decided to make all my episodes available to stream on a Podcast format.

The thing is though, it is really a one wo-man operation! I research (thoroughly I might add, within many cases purchasing books and journal articles too), film & edit video and sound all by myself. I never intended to make a profit from creating this series but with the time spent creating weekly episodes, it is becoming difficult to also keep up with the things that keep me alive, ya know?

SO…whilst I thoroughly enjoy the process and love being able to spread psychological awareness to lesser known cases within South Africa and the world- I do still need to make a living and feed my dogs.Let me tell you, all those good boy treats add up!

And unfortunately, due to the nature of the content posted, Youtube monetization is often not a guarantee!

But I digress. Point of the story is that I would love to be able to offer MORE episodes on a more full time basis to be able to cover more cases; upgrade my sound quality; purchase more research materials; and so on and forth. And…that is where I would need YOUR help.
